Andrew Saxton is the Member of Parliament for North Vancouver and a former businessman.He was elected on October 14, 2008 and named Parliamentary Secretary to the President of the Treasury Board on November 7, 2008. He also serves on the Public Accounts and Scrutiny of Regulations Committees.

Andrew spent his early childhood living on the North Shore where his father built the Grouse Mountain skyride and headed up the mountain resort.

After graduating with a degree in Administrative and Commercial Studies from the University of Western Ontario in 1986, Andrew started his career in finance with Credit Suisse in Switzerland. He later took a position with Credit Suisse in New York and thereafter returned to Vancouver with the same firm. In 1994 Andrew moved to Hong Kong with HSBC and in 1997 he was appointed Senior Vice President of HSBC in Singapore.

Recently, Andrew was the CEO of King George Financial Corp, an investment firm. He lives in the Deep Cove area and is active in local, volunteer and charitable organizations:

Andrew enjoys outdoor sports and the great natural environment of this beautiful riding. Andrew is fluent in English and French.
